Good news. This morning I went to my eye specialist for an update on a condition that has had me uptight for a year plus and he says the condition is stable and requires no intervention other than an annual MRI to make sure the sleeping dog is still asleep. The condition is a nerve sheath meningioma, which grows painlessly and very slowly. I've probably had mine for over ten years as they can see it on an MRI the hospital in Mexico did when I had my stroke. Mine seems to have stopped growing and won't damage the left eye unless it grows out of the right eye socket and then back into the left. I've pretty much lost vision in my right eye and won't get it back, but I largely learned to compensate for that loss before I was aware of it happening. Strange what goes on in on our inner sanctum!
